Since 2014, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan has organized the International festival of Arabic language and culture.Open to the public, this event aims to bring students from all fields of study, as well as people working in socially, culturally, educationally, politically and economically significant roles at both the local and national levels, journalists, professionals from all sectors and anyone with an interest in the subject closer to the Arab world and its culture - still relatively little known in Italy, despite our country’s deep political, economic and social ties with Arab communities and countries.

The Festival seeks to promote intercultural dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean by creating opportunities for exchange not only among Arab and European cultural figures, but also between the cultural world and the business community, as well as between local Arab and Italian communities.

On the one hand, the Festival offers high-level cultural debates featuring prominent academics and intellectuals from across the Arab world and Europe. On the other, it showcases a wide range of artistic expressions connected to the Arabic language and culture, including theatre, cinema, poetry, music, painting, photography, calligraphy and more.
